…well, it’s not often that a mountain bike brake caliper actually has springs in it like this one.

Interesting job today, complete rebuild of this 10+ year old Hope brake. All rubber and wearing parts being replaced. Pistons as seen at the bottom of the photo, left one has been cleaned, right one as found.

Fiddly Friday.

One of the great benefits of having a full-width workshop space is that we can accommodate larger bicycles, such as this tandem. A quick check over and both wheels trued, it was on its way again. We called it “Big Bird”.
